Photograph of Dell and
Gertrude Jarboe's home where five of their nine girls were
born: Bernadette, Lucille (died as a baby), Lillian,
Kathleen and Josephine. This home is only a few miles from
the family cemetery and a small group made an excursion to the old
home after the picnic. This house was built in 1897 but, as
the photos below show, it is no longer inhabited. |

collapsed and all of the doors and windows are open. Hay and
animals have been kept inside. |
