At a court held for Washington County the 26th day of October 1835.
This Indenture of bargain and sale between David Campbell
of the one part and John Phelps of the other part was acknowledged in court by
the said Campbell as his act and deed and ordered to be recorded.
Test.
D. Campbell
[It isn’t clear whether this is the same 25 acre parcel of land that was deeded to John Phelps in 1830 by David Campbell as attorney for Henry and Boggs. It is in the same area but why would this record be needed since a deed was already on record? Maybe it’s for a different piece of land adjoining the earlier parcel.]
