Land swap between A. A. and Ida F. Branch and J.J. and Pallie L. Scott
This Deed or agreement made and entered into this Aug. 20th 1887 between A. A. Branch and I. F. Branch his wife and J. J. Scott, Jun. And Pallie L. Scott his wife all of the County of Washington and State of Virginia. Witnesseth: That A. A. Branch and wife of the one part, doth bargain and convey to the said J. J. Scott. Jun. And wife their entire interest in the boundary of land willed to them by John Phelps Dec. in said County east of an ash corner of James Phelps, thence strait from said ash north to a small walnut, thence on same degree to James Phelps line. And the said J. J. Scott Jun and wife doth bargain and convey to the said A. A. Branch and wife their entire interest in the aforesaid piece of land west of the said line beginning at said Ash, thence north to said Walnut and on same degree to James Phelps line. And each of the above named parties doth warrant generally to the other party the land hereby conveyed, to have and hold forever. Witness the following signatures and seals.

I, Thos. R. Hines a Justice for the County and in the State aforesaid do hereby certify that the above parties A. A. Branch and Ida F. Branch his wife and J. J. Scott and Pallie L. Scott his wife came personally before me in my county aforesaid and acknowledged this agreement, Given under my hand this Aug. 20th 1887.

The foregoing Deed was delivered to the Clerk of the County Court aforesaid on the day above mentioned and admitted to record.
